Cookout Honoring Local HeroesRotary will host a cookout honoring local heroes of the city police and county sheriff's departments on Wednesday, Oct. 2. All officers and staff members are invited. The BBQ will be at the Jail-Justice Center on Smith Avenue. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

GRSP Students PresentWe'll hear from both our Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP) students at this meeting. They've had a few weeks to get settled at their host homes and will tell us about themselves and their home countries as well as what they hope to learn or accomplish this year, during their studies in the United States. Our students are Manuel Velez of Colombia, hosted by Devona and Stephan Thompson, and Dawn Mabaso of South Africa, hosted by André and Walter Marria. Additionally, club members will receive their current GRSP Foundation giving-status as we kick off our annual giving campaign. Thursday, Oct. 3
GRSP Reception + Wine or WhineOn Thursday, Oct. 3, Wallace and Debbie Goodman will host a Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP) Reception.
